Just One of Those Days

Monday ended up being one of those days. One of those days when everything that could go right...DID! I felt as if I was walking on cloud 11..or 12..or whatever the highest cloud number is. lol. So, I just wanted to take this blog post to just tell God thanks for such a wonderful day, and to boast in Him! I have definitely had days that have seemed like the complete opposite of Monday. You know. The days when everything that could possibly go wrong, does. Truth is, God is the same God on my really awesome days AND on my "I'm already late for work, then the bus breaks down" days. So what made Monday so wonderful you might ask? Well, it was a compilation of little things

I got to pray and read my Bible, write my blog post, exercise, spend time with friends, did really well on an exam, got to class early, worshiped,and saw a friend get baptized. The best part though was that after writing my blog post, the idea of "inviting the glorious into the mundane" was on my mind. In all honesty, I've had many days like Monday. But, when we choose to abide ..really abide in Christ, being in constant communion with Him...everything changes. So even if I end up having one of those... "i just want to get home and hide under my pillow" kind of days later on this week (which I hope I don't), the fact of the matter is that He is God, and He is good, and He is faithful....and that never changes!
