#100daysofpraise Day 1:Marley Twists

Hey guys, so I'll be doing #100daysofpraise (#100happydays). Everyday, for the next 100 days, I will post a picture of something that I thanked God for on that day. No matter how big or how small. The bible continually exhorts us to be thankful in all things (1 Thess 5:18), so even on those days when it seems like everything went wrong, I know I'll still have something to post about...because the truth of Christ redeeming us, never changes. So, here's day 1, of many!

May 19, 2014. Today I'm thankful that I got to do my hair in Marley twists last night. I went to bed at about 5:00am. 

Back Story

The story behind this hairstyle is that the first time I tried it was a complete "wow God, you really care about the small things" moment. For 3 days I kept thinking that I wanted to try the hairstyle but I was very reluctant. For a couple reasons:

1. I don't wear extensions, and

2. I had no idea how to do it and my budget was very tight, so I didn't know if I could afford to pay someone to do it for me.

I was hanging out with one of my girlfriends one night, and I was telling her that I wanted to try this hairstyle,and she says to me "I think I have hair in my car, that I've never used". I was Like GET OUT!!! haha, so that same night her and I watched some Youtube videos, and then I got the hang of it. 

Today

So today, more like last night ( finished at 5:00 am) I did them again , but I was just reminded of how God is SUCH a God of the small things. He knew that I wanted to try the hairstyle, and He provided a way for me to. So, I'm smiling because I remember that His faithfulness and the way He loves us, is so far beyond my comprehension.
