As the end of the  year approaches...I look back on it all..and I can say that it has been a year of painful growth. Extremely painful. Collectively, its been one of the most painful years for me, and that's okay! God is good. He is good at all times, in all seasons, in all circumstances. He is good. He is also constant. He never shifts or changes or gives up on us. He is faithful. No matter how many times I get it wrong, which I do quite frequently, He is faithful, in spite of me. His plan and will is going to be accomplished, regardless. His purpose is to glorify Himself, and He will do so in whatever way He sees best. And if  that's true, and my ultimate joy and delight is to see Him glorified, then no matter what happens, I'll always have a reason to rejoice.
