Be still, my child
Be still and rest
Knowing that I have already conquered the grave.
I am your rest.
In this world you will have trouble, but take heart,
Do not be discouraged, for I have overcome the world.
Greater is He that is in you.
I am in you.


I see your sin;
I see your shame;
I see your guilt;
I see the moments when you look to others for satisfaction;
I taught you not to do that- a long time ago.
But, I am patient.
I will be here, to teach you again, because I am not only the Author, but the Perfecter of your faith.


I delight in your worship of ME
It is what you were created for.
Worship me, even when you don't feel like it
Because I am still worthy.

Have you not realized?
Emotions change,
Feelings change
Seasons change
people change
But I, the Lord, your God, I change not.
I am consistent. Not predictable. Consistent.
